I am confused about pregnancy tests?

last time i had my period was the last week of november. I had unprotected on dec 8th....he didnt m in me (ya i know, pre-***) I did two pg tests last week...the early detection kind. They were both negative. I have cramps right now...should i ume things are fine and expect my period any day now?
