Why do people think the Patriots are in the decline?

Doesn't make sense to me. They completely rejuvenated their defense. They picked up young, cly and talented CB's in the draft in Wilhite and Wheatley who can be molded into top CB's by new DB coach Dom Capers who is known for doing just that. They have veterans in place with Hobbs and you've got Meriweather back there in his second year. You've got Mayo who from what I saw at training camp looks to be a BEAST!! They are able to move Adalius Thomas into the position he is more successful at. And you've got practically everyone back from the offense from last year and now they have a year behind them. Even though they didn't win it all... they did all they did last year after ONE offseason of work together... haha... ONE... some teams take YEARS to form that kind of chemistry. And they were only 3 points shy of being the best team ever. This year... they will go back to the slow prodding Patriot play that won them 3 superbowls. Maybe not undefeated...
