congratulations on your pregnancy. The docs say if you are 100% sure you are finished having babies to get your tubes cut, tied, and burned. I doubt that your mom's tubal ligation had anything to do with her needing a hysterectomy. Talk it over with your gyne doc. Best wishes with your future bundle of joy!
