What are some difficulties when learning Irish Gaelic?

I'm a French-Colombian, so Spanish and French are both my mother tongues, I was just wondering, what are some grammatical difficulties when learning Irish. Or in general what are some distinctive characteristics of the Irish Gaelic language. Thanks.
