Should the Black Community wholey denouce SLAVE NAMES?

Learning about your history and keeping it in your memory can only serve as shackles if you let it. I don't see a need to change the name as there is a lot of history with the name, not just for the person who took it on, but for everything he or she did that made your life easier today. Plus, it isn't the white man's history...it is just history.
